Introducing Progressive Interest: Higher Rates and No Management Fee

We’ve made a series of improvements to stock.estate designed to make investing simpler, clearer, and more rewarding.

The biggest changes are the introduction of Progressive Interest, the replacement of the previous cashback system, and the removal of the management fee.

With the new structure, the annual return available for an investment depends on two separate factors:

  1. The amount you invest, which determines the Progressive Interest band.
  2. Your Investor Level, which is based on your active principal and can increase the starting rate available to you.

These two mechanisms work together, but they are not the same thing.

What is Progressive Interest?

Progressive Interest is a new interest structure in which the annual return changes according to the amount of the individual investment.

Each investment amount falls into a specific band, with a corresponding annual return.

The principle is simple:

The more you invest in a single investment, the higher the Progressive Interest rate available for that investment can be.

You do not need to move through the bands one by one.

If your first investment is large enough to qualify for a higher band, it can access that band directly.

For example, an investment of €100,000 can qualify directly for the maximum annual return of 16%, even if it is your first investment on stock.estate.

How Progressive Interest bands work

Each investment amount falls into a specific Progressive Interest band.

For a Standard investor, the complete Progressive Interest structure is:

Investment amountAnnual return
From €25010.25%
From €50010.50%
From €75010.75%
From €1,00011.00%
From €1,25011.25%
From €1,50011.50%
From €2,00011.75%
From €2,50012.00%
From €3,00012.25%
From €4,00012.50%
From €5,00012.75%
From €6,00013.00%
From €7,50013.25%
From €10,00013.50%
From €12,50013.75%
From €15,00014.00%
From €17,50014.25%
From €20,00014.50%
From €25,00014.75%
From €30,00015.00%
From €40,00015.25%
From €50,00015.50%
From €75,00015.75%
From €100,00016.00%

The band is determined by the amount of that individual investment, not by how much you previously invested on the platform.

You do not need to move through the bands one by one.

For example:

  • if you invest €1,250, the investment falls directly into the €1,250 band
  • if you invest €10,000, it falls directly into the €10,000 band
  • if you invest €50,000, it falls directly into the €50,000 band
  • if you invest €100,000, it falls directly into the highest band, with a maximum annual return of 16%

So Progressive Interest is based on the size of the investment you are making, while Investor Level is a separate mechanism based on your active principal.

What is Investor Level?

Investor Level is a separate mechanism from Progressive Interest.

It is based on your active principal across stock.estate.

Active principal is the amount of principal that is still actively invested, including invested bonuses.

Repaid principal, refunded investments, pending investments and money held in your wallet do not count toward your active principal.

There are four Investor Levels:

Investor LevelActive principalStarting-rate uplift
StandardBelow €25,000+0 pp
BronzeFrom €25,000+3 pp
SilverFrom €50,000+4 pp
GoldFrom €100,000+5 pp

Investor Level benefits apply to Progressive Interest campaigns.

Each Investor Level increases the starting rate in percentage points, while the campaign maximum remains the same.

Importantly, the uplift is not simply added to every Progressive Interest rate shown for Standard investors.

Instead, the Progressive Interest bands are recalculated within the new range between the higher starting rate and the same campaign maximum.

Progressive Interest and Investor Level are two different things

The distinction can be summarized simply:

Investment amount → Progressive Interest band

Active principal → Investor Level

Progressive Interest determines where an individual investment sits within the campaign’s rate range.

Investor Level changes the starting point of that range.

This means investors making the same investment amount can receive different annual returns depending on their Investor Level.

As the investment amount increases, the rates gradually move toward the same maximum annual return of 16%.

A simple example

Consider four investors who all make the same €1,000 investment.

Investor LevelInvestment amountAnnual return
Standard€1,00011.00%
Bronze€1,00013.50%
Silver€1,00014.33%
Gold€1,00015.17%

The investment amount is identical in all four cases.

The €1,000 investment determines the Progressive Interest band.

The Investor Level determines the starting-rate range available to that investor.

This is why different Investor Levels can result in different annual returns for the same investment amount.

What happens at the highest band?

Investor Level has the biggest impact toward the lower end of the Progressive Interest range.

As the investment amount increases, the rates gradually converge because the maximum campaign rate remains the same.

At an investment of €100,000:

Investor LevelAnnual return
Standard16.00%
Bronze16.00%
Silver16.00%
Gold16.00%

All Investor Levels therefore reach the same maximum annual return of 16% at the highest Progressive Interest band.

How the two mechanisms work together

Think of the new structure as two separate steps.

1. Your Investor Level sets the starting point

Your active principal determines whether you are Standard, Bronze, Silver or Gold.

A higher Investor Level gives you a higher starting rate for Progressive Interest campaigns.

2. Your investment amount determines the band

The amount of the new investment determines where that investment sits within the Progressive Interest range.

A larger investment moves further through that range toward the campaign maximum.

Together, these two factors determine the annual return shown for a particular investment.

Progressive Interest replaces cashback

The previous cashback system is being replaced by Progressive Interest.

Instead of receiving a separate cashback benefit, the new structure reflects the benefit directly through the annual return available for an investment.

The rate displayed to you takes into account:

  • the Progressive Interest band associated with the investment amount;
  • your Investor Level.

This makes it easier to understand the rate available before making an investment.

No more management fee

Alongside Progressive Interest, we are also removing the management fee previously charged on investments through stock.estate.

Under the previous structure, stock.estate applied a 0.2% monthly management fee, calculated on the value of the investment portfolio managed through the platform.

With the new structure, investors will no longer be charged this management fee.

This removes a recurring platform cost and makes the overall investment structure easier to understand.

A clearer way to understand your return

With the new structure, there are two main questions to consider:

How much are you investing?
This determines the Progressive Interest band.

What is your Investor Level?
This is determined by your active principal and affects the starting rate available to you.

The stock.estate investment interface takes both factors into account and displays the annual return available for the investment you select.

See your rate before you invest

The investment interface shows the annual return available for different investment amounts based on your current Investor Level.

This allows you to see your applicable rate before investing and understand how changing the investment amount affects your annual return.

More transparent, more rewarding, simpler

These changes are built around three principles:

More rewarding
Larger investments can qualify for higher Progressive Interest bands, while higher Investor Levels provide higher starting rates.

More transparent
Progressive Interest and Investor Level are clearly separated, making it easier to understand how the displayed annual return is determined.

Simpler
The previous cashback system is replaced by Progressive Interest, while the recurring management fee is removed.

In short:

Your investment amount determines the Progressive Interest band. Your active principal determines your Investor Level. Your Investor Level affects the starting rate. And the management fee is removed.
